International Symposium on Silicon Based Optoelectronics (ISSBO) focus on the development of cutting-edge technologies and industrialization of silicon-based optoelectronics. The symposium invites top experts in related fields to share their academic achievements, and encourages young scholars and students to contribute enthusiastically, which has attracted widespread attention from academics and industry scholars since its inception. The 1st ISSBO, initiated in 2021, was eventually held online due to the epidemic with more than 20000 online viewing participants. The 2nd and 3rd ISSBO was held in Hangzhou, with more than 200 offline participants.
International Symposium on Silicon Based Optoelectronics (ISSBO2024) will be held from July 31 to August 2, 2024 in Chongqing, China. The symposium will discuss the current progresses of silicon-based optoelectronics and the challenges it faces, and explore the next development path of silicon-based optoelectronics, including related new structures, new materials, new wavebands, new applications, and emerging manufacturing technologies.
